Abkhazian poet, prose writer, journalist, publicist.
He was born on 15 May 1958 in the Mzudzirkhva family of the Gudauta district of the Abkhazian ASSR.
Honoured Journalist of the Republic of Abkhazia (2015). Member of the Union of Journalists of Abkhazia and the International Confederation of Journalists' Unions, the Union of Writers of Abkhazia (1997), then the Association of Writers of Abkhazia (2003). Writes in the Abkhaz language.
Graduated from the Philological Faculty of the Gorky Abkhazian State University in 1986.
In 1978-1979. - In 1978-1979 he was a cincographer at the newspaper shop of Sukhumi printing house No. 7, in 1979-1982 he was a correspondent of the State Radio of Abkhazia, in 1982-1988 he was a correspondent of the State Radio of Abkhazia. - Head of the literary section of the Abkhazian State Drama Theatre named after S. Y. Chanba, in 1988-1990 - Editor-in-Chief of the Department of Publishers' Affairs. - From 1990 - deputy editor-in-chief of the children's magazine "Amtsabz" ("Flame"). Then deputy editor of the newspaper Etsvaadjaa (Constellation).
He began to publish in 1977 in the Gudauta district newspaper "Bzyb".
Poems were published in the magazines "Alashara" ("Light"), "Amtsabz" ("Flame"), in the newspapers "Etsvadzhaa" ("Constellation"), "Literaturnaya gazeta", in the collections "...A monument will not replace our sons..." (Sukhum, 1994, etc.). Poems and Songs" (Sukhum, 1994) and others.
Author of more than 10 poetry and prose collections.
