About us

The autonomous non-profit organisation «Assistance to the Preservation of the Literary Heritage of APSNY» was established to preserve, study and promote the literary, cultural and spiritual heritage of Abkhazia, to contribute to the moral and moral revival of society, to carry out information and awareness-raising activities, and to patriotically educate young people in the spirit of traditional Abkhaz moral values. We plan to create a powerful information resource with the help of which, through the work of Abkhaz poets and writers, we will foster love for our native land, our native culture and our native village.
 
Irina Lakerbai - project manager. Born on 30.12.1974 in Dmitrov, Moscow region. Graduated from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in accounting and auditing. She works in the field of outsourcing. She is the head of ANO «Assistance to the preservation of the literary heritage of APSNY» and oversees the organisational and financial processes of the organisation.
Fatima Lakerbaya - project coordinator. She was born on 28.04.1969 in the village of Duripsh, Gudauta district, Abkhazian ASSR. In 1991 she graduated from the Abkhazian State University named after M. Gorky, specialising in philology and teaching Abkhazian language. She works at the D.I. Gulia Abkhazian Institute for Humanitarian Studies (Abkhazian Institute for Humanitarian Research) as a researcher in the dialectological laboratory. He is engaged in research and study of Abkhazian language dialects and colloquialisms. At the same time works as a teacher of the Abkhazian language in the school. She is the coordinator of the project «Preservation of the literary heritage of APSNA».
Alina Achba - host of the literary lounge «Visiting Alina Achba». Born on 01.03.1962 in the village of Pokveshi, Ochamchira district, Abkhazian ASSR. In 1977 she graduated from Sukhumi boarding school named after Dzidzari. In 1984 she graduated from the Abkhazian State University named after M. Gorky, specialising in philology. She works at the D.I. Gulia Abkhazian Institute for Humanitarian Studies (Abkhazian Institute for Humanitarian Research) as a researcher in the dialectological laboratory. She is engaged in scientific activities and radio journalist, hosts an author's programme on the history and culture of Abkhazia. Within the framework of the project «Preservation of the literary heritage of APSNA» she is the host of the literary lounge «Visiting Alina Achba».
